Original WWII US Navy N-1 Deck Jacket Size S

This is a beautifully distressed original WWII N-1 deck jacket. This jacket has seen heavy use, so it has a fantastic patina and appropriate wear throughout. Accordingly, there is wear to the cuffs, seams, buttons, etc. The alpaca lining is in great shape, except for around the collar where it has worn off in places. It has stencils on both the front and the back. As the photos show, there are some holes and stains, but unlike with most pieces, these really do add to the character of the jacket. It appears that a hole has been mended on the upper back near the collar (possibly from the hang loop), and the hang loop appears to have been moved. There is one major flaw with this jacket—the zipper slide is gone, so it will not zip up. The Talon zipper can be replaced, although I have not done so. The buttons are strong, but it has one mismatched button on the front. Otherwise, this is a sturdy original collector's item that has many years of wear left in it. The size tag is gone, but it fits like a U.S. men's size small. I am 5'8" tall, 165 lbs, with a 39 inch chest, and it fits me perfectly. Please consult photos and measurements for more details.
